Golf Performance Training in Scituate, MA

Play Your Best Golf, Pain-Free

Most golfers assume losing distance or battling back pain is just part of getting older. It is not. Physical limitations in hip mobility, thoracic rotation, or shoulder stability directly affect swing mechanics — and they are correctable with the right assessment and plan.

Pain and Compensations That Keep Your Game From Moving Forward

Driving Distance That Won't Come Back

You've tried adjusting your swing, but the yards keep slipping. Limited hip mobility and poor thoracic rotation are usually the culprit — not your technique.

Back Pain That Follows You Off the Course

That stiffness on the back nine or soreness the morning after a round is your body telling you something isn't moving right. It gets worse if the cause goes unaddressed.

Playing Through It Instead of Fixing It

Pushing through rounds when something hurts leads to compensation patterns that make both the pain and the swing worse over time. There is a better approach.

Common Challenges We Solve

What Golf Performance Training Addresses

Whether your swing has lost its power, your back tightens up mid-round, or you're dealing with soreness that lingers into the next morning — these issues don't resolve on their own. This program is built around your specific movement picture and what's getting in the way.

Hip mobility deficits that limit rotation and reduce driving distance

Thoracic rotation restriction affecting swing mechanics and consistency

Golf-related back, shoulder, or hip pain that shows up during or after a round

Swing inefficiency caused by compensatory movement patterns

Post-round fatigue and breakdown that affect the back nine

Reduced driving distance with no clear mechanical cause

Stiffness and soreness that persist after play

Return to golf after an injury or extended time off the course

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about golf performance training at Next Level Performance Systems.

Is this different from working with a golf instructor?

Yes. A golf instructor focuses on swing technique. We focus on the physical side — your joint mobility, strength, and movement control. When your body can't do what the swing requires, technique adjustments only go so far. This program addresses the physical limitations directly.

Do I need to have pain to benefit from this program?

Not at all. Many patients come in for pure performance improvement — more distance, better endurance through 18 holes, or a more consistent swing. You don't have to be injured to benefit from a program built around how your body actually moves.

How long does a golf performance program take?

Program length depends on your starting point and goals. Some patients see meaningful improvements in six to eight weeks. Others continue over a longer period for ongoing performance development. After your initial assessment, you'll receive a clear plan with realistic timelines based on your specific situation.

Is golf performance training covered by insurance?

No. Next Level Performance Systems is a cash-based clinic. We do not accept insurance. This allows us to design a program based entirely on what will produce results for you — not what an insurance plan is willing to approve or reimburse.

What happens during the first session?

Your first session is a thorough assessment. We evaluate your movement patterns, mobility, strength, and any pain or limitation you're dealing with. From there, a personalized program is designed specific to your body and your goals — with a full explanation of what we found and why it matters.
